With Operator Connect, you directly connect your existing telephony operator to Microsoft Teams. Configuration is done via the Teams Admin Center and is usually completed within a few hours. You retain your existing numbers, and your operator manages the connection.

Direct Routing: maximum control

For organizations with specific requirements — own SIP infrastructure, existing PBX, or special numbering plans — Direct Routing is the solution. Through a Session Border Controller (SBC), you connect your own telephony infrastructure to Microsoft Teams. This provides maximum flexibility and control.
